MATTRESS SIZES
Choosing a mattress size is determined by who will be sleeping on the bed, the size of
the room, and the sleeping habits of the person(s) sleeping on the bed. A queen or king is the best choice for two people. A queen set will actually give you an extra 5 square
feet than a full (double) bed. The cost difference is minimal.
If you choose a queen bed, you need to know whether a queen box spring will fit up a
tight stairway. If it does not fit, you will need split box springs (2 halves) at an extra cost.
A king mattress does not fold in half unless it is a Tempur Pedic, latex, or other foam
bed with no springs. A king automatically comes with 2 box springs.
